How Often should I advertise?
The "Rule of 7": This is a popular marketing concept that suggests consumers need to see or hear your message at least 7 times before they take action. While this number is not a hard-and-fast rule, it reflects the idea that repeated exposure helps build familiarity and trust.
Repetition builds awareness: people often need to hear or see a message multiple times before it truly sinks in. Repeated exposure increases brand recall and helps the message stick in the audience's memory. This is especially important in a world where consumers are constantly bombarded with information.
What size of ad should I go for?
We always advise you to go for a smaller size ad for longer, if budget doesn’t stretch to a bigger. As our magazine has such a high distribution amount, a smaller size ad can still be just as effective.
Do you help with designing my ad?
Yes! Our in-house designer, Chris, can come up with a brilliant, effective advert for you, he has over 20-years’ experience designing for print. Alternatively, you can provide us with artwork and we can advise you too if you need some assistance.
What packages do we offer and can I pay monthly?
We offer our advertisers 3 or 6 month packages (we can offer 12 months if requested). Yes, we can set up a direct debit for monthly payments. Enquire here for prices.
What is the cost of advertising?
Our prices start from £32 per month (plus VAT), for a full price list, please drop us through a line
When is the deadline?
The 12th of the month.
Can you design the artwork?
Yes! Our designer has over 20 years experience designing for community magazines, he has come up with designs that has generated thousands of pounds worth of services for our advertisers, so he knows what works. Depending on the package, we can offer design work for free or at the fraction of the cost of usual design work.
Can I change artwork?
You can change your artwork at any time before the deadline, if you need help with this, just ask.
I need marketing advice, can you help?
Yes, we are more than happy to draw on our years of experience to come up with an effective ad that really works in print.
Can I choose where my ad appears in the magazine?
While we do our best to accommodate placement requests, premium placements (like the back cover or inside front) are limited and come with an additional fee.
Can I advertise a one-time event or sale?
Absolutely. We offer short-term ad placements perfect for promoting special events, sales, or announcements.
What is your readership?
Our low estimate is 38,000 readers and our high estimate is 57,000 readers – readership estimates are based on quantity of magazines delivered.
